Alec W. Brindle is a graduate of the University of Santa Clara and earned his Law Degree at the University of Washington in 1963. He was a law clerk for Justice John Dimond of the Alaska Supreme Court and then practiced law in Seattle, Washington from 1965 to 1977. He then served as President of Wards Cove Packing Company, an Alaska seafood processing company, until his retirement in 2000. He also served as President of Alyeska Seafoods from 1983 to 2000 and is now Chairman of the Board. Aleyeska Seafoods is engaged in seafood processing in Unalaska, Alaska. He is also Chairman of the Board of the Tongass Trading Company in Ketchikan, Alaska and previously served as President of that Company. During his business career, Mr. Brindle served on a variety of Industry, State and Federal Boards and Commissions. (He is really glad he is retired and no longer flying all over Alaska and back and forth to Washington DC and Japan!)
