Ms. Brown is the Director and Co-Founder/Creator of the Lung Cancer Support Community (LCSC), a nonprofit organization that operates a website providing online support for lung cancer patients and their family members and friends. In addition, Ms. Brown provides general consulting in lung cancer advocacy issues, fundraising, and volunteer coordination to the LUNGevity Foundation, a Chicago-based nonprofit organization. Ms. Brown has also been selected as a local and national delegate for the Lance Armstrong Foundation, where she has advocated on behalf of cancer patients and survivors. Prior to her involvement with cancer advocacy and education, Ms. Brown worked in the legal field at both CT Corporation and as a paralegal at a Texas law firm.
