I wanted to give a shout out to Ned, NeilB, and JimC as moderators for the GRACE forums. It has been a huge help to have them directing people here to prior podcasts, posts/articles, and other discussion threads that can provide helpful answers. When people ask how I and other physician colleagues can carve out the time to answer questions and generate new content, one answer is that it’s far easier when other people here can volunteer their time and growing expertise (and believe me, I’m impressed by many of the answers non-faculty members of the GRACE community are giving) and thereby permit us to spend more time on other things. So I want to tip my hat and say that these guys are doing a terrific job. I’m sure I’m speaking for many in saying that we’re very grateful for your help.

The group of moderators providing direction to other people learning their way around isn’t meant to be an exclusive club, so if you can swing the time and have the motivation to help fellow members of the cancer community, please comment here or e-mail me at west@cancergrace.org. We’ll also be very eager to have our moderators work with us in the design and implementation of the newer “GRACE 2.0″ version of the site we’re embarking on this year, specifically to make it easier for people to find the information they need.

So thanks again to our extremely helpful and committed moderators, and just say the word if you’d be interested in helping out.
