Hi viv, I believe genomics is currently the only science used for studying DNA in cancer research but I don’t really know. I just wanted to let you know we’ve seen your post but it’s too far from what our experts practice. Perhaps further google searches for genomics and DNA will give a better understanding.
Yes, we really only work within the realm of practical clinical management of oncology. Genomic testing is available now, but I don’t think we can really address your question. PCR is another test that looks at the DNA, but it looks for a specific mutation, not a broad testing of a potential array of abnormalities.
