The stated mission of GRACE is:

“The Global Resource for Advancing Cancer Education (GRACE) provides expert-mediated information on current and emerging cancer management options in order to empower patients, caregivers, and health professionals to become direct partners in cancer care.”

The information provided by GRACE, through podcasts and posts by the faculty and current and archived forum discussions, empowers each of these types of individuals to make well-informed decisions with regard to cancer care. The presence of that information throughout the site is what bears out Dr. West’s purpose in starting GRACE.
