My daughter 18 was informed she had few things of many Ct but first is , residual thymic tissue notation in the anterior mediastinum…2) 3mm interfissural node along right major fissure n 4mm along right minor fissure. Can you please help us to understand this somehow as to they also suspecting wegeners granulamatous which she has few nodules growing elsewhere including that of tissue of her back arms n then now these that were not there within past 4 months that could see. We were spoke to last week that he(the dr) felt may go ahead and begin a treatment with steroid & chemo to help treat the wegeners in hopes in early stages but then concern may been something that else somwait d to get Ct scans. Any help or info please????

Hi and welcome to Grace. I’m so sorry your daughter is going through this and hope she is able to get it under control without future flares. We don’t have any expertise in this area but I did a search of Wegners and found it is also called granulomatosis with polyangiitis.
