Dr. Jack West founded GRACE to help provide quality cancer education to patients and caregivers, but that’s not his only cancer education project. In a joint effort with the American Medical Association, he has been involved in web-publishing a series of primers on various topics of interest to cancer patients and caregivers. Illustrated with explanatory graphics, these topics cover the basics of a wide variety of subjects such as bone complications in cancer, chemo-induced hair loss and performance status. You can find these here: http://jamanetwork.com/collections/6258/for-patients?&fl_Categories=For+Patients&fl_ContentType=Article&f_JournalDisplayName=JAMA+Oncology You can also find topics from other JAMA journals using the drop-down menu under “Filter by Journal”.
