What happened to our old profile with all our background information? Everything seems to have disappeared. Louise |

I successfully reposted my profile narrative, but my "status" shows me as a newbie with one post...even on archived posts...so my prior account activity apparently isn't linked to my current profile. Baby steps every day! |

Since we are all struggling to find our feet, I thought it might be helpful to post some links to people's recurring threads on the old site. These are simply ones I happened to have a note of or could find swiftly, so I hope no one will be offended at not having been included. I just thought it would help towards re-orientating ourselves in the new scheme of things. I have usually linked to the last message that was posted before the site was frozen, but sometimes just to the name of the thread. Others are welcome to post more links, in fact I hope they will. My best to everyone. Laya and her mother: "Not so good news" |

OK. . .for those of you who haven't tried the search function yet. . .PLEASE DO (even just for fun)! It is absolutely SPOT ON! Just go to the very top of the screen, put in your key words (just like what you would do if you were doing a Google seach), and hit search. The more detail (descriptive words), the better and narrower your search results will be. . . I have had absolutely zero trouble finding the exact information I have been looking for. . .Just yesterday, I put in "waterfall plot," "ALK" and "crizotinib" and got to the exact posts I wanted (where the docs had shared the results of some studies re ALK patients on crizotinib trials on a waterfall plot). So, please try it. . .You'll love it! xoxo, |

I wanted to jump in and say that I think the changes that have been adopted on the site make a difference and that it's better! With a little more experience, I might get the hang of things again. And before any of that happened, I was wanting to post a big SHOUT OUT to Mark and Dr. West for what has become a HUGE new favorite feature for me -- the email notification of a reply to a post. That one feature reduced my frustration with trying to keep up with whatever might be happening on the site to a manageable level. I'm not sure about whether the "subscribe" to this post and the check box for sending an email in the event a reply is posted work the same way or differently, though. I have "subscribed" to a few posts, but don't know what I'm looking for in terms of notification as a result of that functionality. I'm also not sure about how to "sort out" and effectively use what's contained in the "Cancer Info" and "Discuss"drop down menus. The titles suggest (to me, at least) that the "Cancer Info" is a link to more static content (though I know that's not true) and the "Discuss" header suggests that this is the tab you'd use to initiate a topic or engage in a Forum. I'll keep looking at it and try to figure out what I'm doing...or trying to do. Sometimes I don't even know. Maybe later, we can figure out how to disaggregate some of the content that's been posted during this interim period and get a handle on what categories seem to resonate most with folks. Thanks for hanging in there with us. I think we're getting closer to where we all want to be. Yahoo! |

This is absolutely not a complaint. However I wondered if anyone else finds that some of the comments are getting elongated into a long vertical strip, eg: http://cancergrace.org/lung/2012/02/25/5takeawaystargetedrx/#comment-91… |

I couldn't find my old info, so I just updated my profile - when I posted it still didn't show up at the bottom of the post like everyone else - what so I need to do? |

Where would I find my subscriptions and how do I cancel a subscription? I don't want the emails, which are loaded with HTML and barely readable. |
