Stephen Liu, MD, GRACE Faculty

Dr. Stephen V. Liu is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and a practicing thoracic medical oncologist at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University. He received his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree at the University of Maryland. He then completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and his fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Southern California before joining the faculty of Georgetown University. James Bao, Board Member

James has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry with a unique perspective in R&D, business development and patient access.  James currently leads operations in the Specialty Division at McKesson Canada. James oversees project management, change management, systems and operations processes and lean initiatives.

Janine Thompson, Forum Moderator

Janine taught school from 1991 to 2012. She was a special education instructor, advisor and life coach at The Horizons School for young adults in Birmingham, AL for 12 years. Janine also taught as the assistant teacher in Group 5 (4th/5th grade) at the Westland School in Los Angeles, CA. Janine earned a Master of Education and state teacher certification from the University of California in Los Angeles in 1991. Janine’s husband, Don was diagnosed with a pancoast tumor of squamous NSCLC in 2009.
