Gallbladder Cancer is a rare disease in which malignant cells form in the tissues of the gallbladder.  Bile duct cancer or cholangiocarcinoma is a rare disease in which malignant cells form in the bile ducts.  Help us to bring awareness to these rare cancers during the month of February.  Start talking and raise awareness to Gallbladder and Bile Duct Cancer Awareness

There is not a ton of info available for Cholangiocarcinoma, so seeing information come up with new developments is always exciting.  In this video, Rachna Shroff MD, chief of Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology at the University of Arizona Cancer Center in Tucson, AZ, highlights novel therapies for the treatment of cholangiocarcinoma and opportunities for utilization of precision oncology and the development of targeted therapies for genetic alterations in patients dealing with a diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma.

Hi all -- share your cancer journey here and connect with others.  Cancer.gov has a good general description of Cholangiocarcinoma.  This rare disease has support information and programs that can be found at cholangiocarcinoma.org.
