At last, the drug companies are collaborating to try combinations in their clinical trials. I hope this leads to quicker approval

I've seen a few similar reports of planned collaborations, so let's hope this is the way of the future.

It seems like more of an ongoing partnership than a collaboration, since Medarex (aka Celldex) originally developed nivolumab (aka Medarex-1106).

Ah, yes, that's true. I didn't realize that Celldex was Medarex. I know a scientist who worked at Medarex and is very gratified that the agents he worked on before they reached people are now offering so much benefit to actual cancer patients.
