bronchial carcinoid reccurence - 1243859

Hello:  New to this forum and i am wondering if there are any bronchial

carcinoid patients (or caregivers) out there.  I am particularly interested

in ones with reoccurence / mets?

Hallo Vicki - welcome to GRACE. A couple of people have posted recently after being diagnosed with typical bronchial carcinoids. I don't remember anyone writing about a recurrence/met, but you never know who may be out there.

You can find the right forum by going to the navigation bar, and then going to the place under the "Ask a Question About _____", then go down to lung cancer to get to the lung cancer forum -- then start a new topic there.

Hi Vicki,

I am new to this group as well. I am a patient that has had bronchial carcinoid tumors. I had my 2 lower lobes of my right lung removed in 1986 due to carcinoid tumor and I just recently had the rest of my right lung removed in February 2012 due to bronchial carcinoid tumor which had also spread to lymph node (Metastatic malignant neuroendocrine tumor to lymph node).
