My right arm from elbow down is very painful when I raise up my arm. Fingers look a little bit swelling. I only feel the pain when I move my arm.
My lung cancer changes from non small cell to small cell. Yesterday it was supposed to be my second cycle of chemo, but the nurse refused to give it to me because I have upper respiratory symptoms (coughing up mucus). X ray shows my left lung collapse more and has some infiltration. Therefore my carboplatin/etoposide got postpone 1 week. I am afraid the pain is due to bone met. But I am not sure if that is bone met. I only feel pain when I move. Also is it too early to tell if the chemo works just after one cycle?
Thanks

It's impossible to say what
It's impossible to say what the pain is. It could be from the lung collapse, pulled muscle, pinched nerve, or bone met. It's very important to let your oncologist know of any new or worsening symptoms like pain.
It usually takes a 2 or 3 cycles for chemo to make much of a difference but everyone is different.
I hope you are feeling better soon.
