My father has stage IV adenocarcinoma, and is being offered a clinical trial with Lurbinectedin + Paclitaxel. Does anyone have experience with either of these drugs? I'm trying to get an idea of the potential efficacy of this combination so we can assess the risk. Another institution is proposing moving on to radiotherapy, but I'm not sure if this has the potential to be much more effective than that.
Thanks

Hello,
Hello,
Welcome to GRACE. There's a trial of this sprt at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York -http://www.mskcc.org/cancer-care/trial/13-170 It's a Phase I trial, so although the trual sponsors believe it shows promise, it's very early in the testing process and unknown how effective it will be.
