My husband was recently dx'd with stage 4 lung ca due to metastatic pleural effusion, of which he has a permanent chest tube in place with approx 600 ml drained every other day. Due to stage 3 kidney failure and cardiomyopathy, no treatments are being done at this time. He has begun having night sweats. What does this mean? He is a dm II but bs are controlled.
