I was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in July 2012 and have been taking Xalkori since August 2012. Original dosaage of 250 mg twice a day was reduced to 200 mg twice a day due to increase in liver enzymes. I feel very good with only side effect being swollen lower legs but no pain. I am interested in hearing back from others who are being treated with Xalkori for this type of cancer and what they have experienced.

Here is a link to a patient group for those who are ALK and ROS1 positive and who are taking or have taken xalkori. They are all very supportive and quite knowledgeable, http://cancergrace.org/topic/alk-or-ros1-nsclc-patient-group
You should be able to conjure up good discussions there.

Hi Larry, I would have to say you are more experienced than me, since I've only been on the XALKORI for 5 days. But others on this site should be able to answer any questions you might have! Check out the site Janine suggested! I've gotten a lot of good advise from them!
