Are there reports or information on successful therapies after developing resistance to tarceva? 3rd line chemo options such as gemcitabine, docetaxel, pemetrexed seem to have only 10-15% success rate.

There are several targeted therapies that are being studied in clinical trials as potential treatments for "acquired resistance" -- the situation of a person responding very well to an EGFR inhibitor like Tarceva (erlotinib) or Iressa (gefitinib) and then slowly developing progression on it. However, at this time there is no therapy commercially available that is known to be especially effective, certainly no more than the chemotherapy options we would otherwise be turning to.
