To all of my old friends. It has been so good to hear from you again. There are so many no longer with us but there are a lot that are hanging in there. You guys are the special ones. You didn't leave. You stayed to help others.
As for me, I just can't seem to shake it. It just doesn't seem to make sense. NSCLC Adenocarcinoma Lobectomy 2010, Wedge resection 2012 with chemo, and it appears to be back in 2015. The same left lung. The second time it was called recurrent but is it possible that it could be three primaries? Could I just be getting it over and over. It has never gotten out of my lung as far as I know. I have a PET scheduled and will
see the Thoracis surgeon on Dec 30. I don't know what they will want to do this time.
Glad to still be alive!
Charlie

Hi Charlie,
Hi Charlie,
Thank you for your kind words. Although we wish you didn't need to be here, it is good to hear from you.
It's certainly possible to have three primaries, but the pathology on the second resection may have confirmed it as a recurrence.
Please let us know when you have more information, as we will be thinking of you and hoping for the best possible results.
