Hello,

Has anyone watched the Lung Cancer OncTalk 2024 On Demand sessions yet? I’m curious if the content offers any new insights or updates compared to last year’s event. Were the talks useful for clinical practice or more research-focused?

Thank you so much

Hi Lonnie,

Yes, the info in last year's OncTalk was up to date at that moment.  I think it would be well worth the watch along with videos in our 2025 Lung Cancer Video Library playlist as treatment options are emerging quickly.

Our Mission Statement: The Global Resource for Advancing Cancer Education (GRACE) provides expert-mediated information on current and emerging cancer management options in order to empower patients, caregivers, and health professionals to become direct partners in cancer care.

Our 2025 Lung Cancer OncTalk will be Sat. Dec. 13th, 2025.  I think it will be fine if I paste the agenda here. It was just finalized and I imagine it's possible to have changes made since we haven't distributed it yet.

  • Opening Remarks
  • Newer Types of Treatment for Lung Cancer: Antibody-Drug Conjugates and Bispecifics
  • Radiation for Patients with Stage IV Lung Cancer
  • Panel Discussion 1
    (Discussion on session 1 topics)
  • Studies in Oligometastatic NSCLC: Current Data and Definitions
  • Biomarkers and PD-L1 Testing with Your Doctor
  • Panel Discussion 2
    (Discussion on session 2 topics)
  • Q&A
(Answer written/typed questions from live audience in real-time)

On a personal note, I've been a member of GRACE since 2009 when my husband was being diagnosed with lung cancer.  Grace was the only place on the web where I could find info about his uncommon tumor, written (no videos yet) in layman's terms and gave me the confidence that he was getting the best treatment available.  GRACE still provides expert mediated, up to date info, usually in video format, directed specifically to the people who need the info to become part of their own decision making team.

I hope this is helpful and don't hesitate to ask questions as they arise.

Take care,

Janine

I joined GRACE as a caregiver for my husband who had a Pancoast tumor, NSCLC stage III in 2009. He had curative chemo/rads then it was believed he had a recurrence in the spine/oligometastasis that was radiated. He's 10 years out from treatment.
