Dr. Kurian is a medical oncologist at St. Elizabeth Yung Family Cancer Center and is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed his oncology fellowship at NCI designated University Hospitals/Case Comprehensive Cancer Center and served as the 2022-2023 Chief Fellow of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program. His main focus is in breast and genitourinary cancers. His interests include ctDNA, narrative medicine, medical education, clinical trial access in the community, and artificial intelligence. At St. Elizabeth, he currently serves as the Cancer Center Physician Liaison and the Executive Committee of KYSCO (State Affiliate of ASCO) where he hosts the podcast KYSCO Oncology Voices and his goal is to bring academic level care and the latest and greatest clinical trials to the Kentucky region.
