We are proud to present this series on Clinical Trials Experiences.
This unique patient education program gives a voice to patients with experience in participating in a clinical trial. Through storytelling and sharing their experiences, patients can educate others who are considering a similar journey.

Greetings everybody,
My name is Sneha Parikh, and I’m an undergrad student studying Psychology at the University of Arizona. I’m doing my honors thesis research in the lab of Dr. Thaddeus Pace, PhD, Associate Professor.
I’m reaching out today to see if any members of GRACE may be interested in taking part in a compassion meditation program that we are studying at the University of Arizona for breast cancer survivors and their family members. Unlike many other meditation programs, this meditation group meets by Zoom, so it can be done from anywhere in the United States.
Hi everyone, I'm new here and I'm grateful to have found this site.I created a post a few minutes ago but I can't find it! I hope I'm not duplicating this. I was diagnosed stage 1A add no carcinoma in August 2020. I had my upper left lobe removed via VATs surgery. My tumor was 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.1 cm, adenocarcinoma, lepidic predominant with focal papillary feature. Grade 1-2, well to moderately differentiated. At the time of diagnosis, a PET scan showed a maximum SUV of 24.2 (which I believe is extremely high).
We had an overwhelming response to our call for clinical trial participants who would be interested in creating educational content for others by sharing their experiences!
In this continued time of social distancing and limiting clinic exposure, the doctors sat down in their respective homes to discuss some of the questions we all hear regarding these unprecedented times, and how they effect primarily cancer patients.
