Mom's scan results post 2 chemo tx - Great news! - 1252728

Mom's scan shows tumor shrinkage.... So she continued with her 3rd chemo treatment today and will have her 4th one in 3 weeks. Then we will wait and see.

I'm feeling really great that the chemo that is working right now has little to no side effects for her. And no hair loss to boot. This whole thing makes it feel like it's not really happening.

What should we be focused on now. What's the standard after 4 rounds of chemo? do they wait for a scan (how frequently are they done?) and then start it again? is it typically the same medicine?

We're all really thankful for todays news and how she's feeling right now.
