My Mother started using a granular based Nexium to combat reflux disease about two full months ago. She was previously taking other meds for this reflux. About three weeks ago she started taking Prednisone... She was Dx'ed Stage 3A Aden on 08/30/12... had LUL resection, then concurrent chemo and radiation afterwards which finished early December 2012.
She had a rough time of it and still has a PEG tube. She had/ has severe esophagitis and was Dx'ed with radiation pneumonitis. Can Nexium and or prednisone cause dizziness and or nausea... has anyone experienced symptoms like these? Please let me know and thank you.

I don't think either the prednisone or nexium would be a likely cause for dizziness or nausea. In fact, I think that these medicines would have a greater chance of helping than causing nausea.
Good luck.

How about gabepentin or in combo with these other two? She insists that she is normally only getting the dizziness a few hours after she takes these medicines which is normally by the early to mid afternoon. Thank you very much in advance.

Gabapentin could potentially cause fatigue or lightheadedness. I don't know about any anticipated interaction.
