A big thank you to Drs West and Weiss, Carlea and all who gave my son Andy and DIL Leslie such a nice opportunity via the Santa Monica forum. They tell me that the bonding and learning were great, not to mention the getaway angle! Andy is a patient of Dr Camidge and that added so much to the experience for them, as did meeting Linnea, a bona fide ALK star. Please keep working hard (I know you will) for these kids and the other beautiful people who now are their friends.

Wow, That's a wonderful post, one that can bring a tear to the eye because of how uplifting the words. I've had an inkling of Linnea's star status and so glad she was there. Just... :) :) for all 30 some odd ALK + people, the people they love, and the brilliant doctors who work so passionately to make lives better.

I attended with my daughter Lysa and we feel blessed to have participated. We are so grateful to GRACE for giving us the oppotunity to meet others on the same journey and to hear the Dr's speak was amazing.
We spent quite a bit of time with Andy & Leslie & they are an amzing couple. We were all inspired by Linnea, she is beautiful inside & out. To meet the people from Inspire was the best, to put a face to their screen name & to be able to hug them was incredible
The ability to sit & share our experiences was invaluable & has made us all stronger.
So a huge 'thank you" to Dr West, Carlea and to everyone involved in putting this event together for us. The event made a difference in all of our lives.

Operations Director, GRACE
The forum was a great event! and like all of you, I thoroughly enjoyed putting faces to names, and meeting all the wonderful people who attended. We will post pictures soon, and videos from the weekend will also be available as soon as we can get them up. Thank you so much to all of you who were able to attend, as well as the docs and Carlea for organizing. We hope to do more meetings like this in the future!
Operations Director for GRACE. Have worked with cancerGRACE.org since July 2009. Became involved as a caregiver to my best friend, and quickly came to see that GRACE is filling a need in the area of cancer education.

I'm really gratified that people enjoyed the forum so much. It was a very high energy event, and I know I and the other faculty truly enjoyed being part of it. We have done a few live events over the years, which have been more hit or miss, especially the educational programs. I suspected that a forum specifically focused on some timely topics would be of great interest to enough people to prompt them to travel for it.
We're very interested in and likely to plan subsequent events on immunotherapy, acquired resistance, and potentially also one on BAC in the next year or so.

Dr. West and all the GRACE representatives,
Thank you for putting the conference on. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn what is next for us ALK+ patients. Gives me hope there are several options when Xalkori has run its course.
God willing I look forward to attending a similar forum next year to discuss options 4 and 5!
