I am 34 years old, was diagnosed with NHL, completed 5 cycles of Chemo, PET/CT Scan showing no activity present.
In 3 weeks my 6th Cycle will get over.
I have gained weight, around 10 - 11 kg in the course of cycles. i would like to regain my shape.
Can you give me tips on proper diets & exercises.
Regards ,
Bobby

Hi Bobbie, Congrats on being almost done with treatment. I'm afraid our focus isn't on the subjects of either NHL or fitness/nutrition. You're doctors will be the best judge to say how far you should push yourself right now. A balanced diet is always the best when possible. Many people taking chemo do best eating small meals more often. If you haven't exercised in a while starting slowly is best. These aren't cancer specific though just general rules.
All best,
Janine

Hi Bobby,
Congratulations on your good scan results and nearing the end of treatment. As Janine said, a balanced diet is best. You may find helpful the comments of Nutritionist/Oncology Dietician Kelay Trentham, which you can find here: http://cancergrace.org/cancer-101/2010/09/03/what-is-an-optimal-diet-fo…
