What to eat that will be beneficial while taking Tarceva? About six months in and stomach aches. Eating but weight loss as well. Know of orgs out of the U.S. and approach to holistic etc.
But really and truly what to eat daily? Know of power salads etc. But is there an alternative? Disease is going away but want to knock it out of the park....

Hi wildlife1,
Hi wildlife1,
Welcome to GRACE. It's great to hear that you're doing well on Tarceva. There's no real magic bullet diet to beat cancer, despite many online claims to the contrary, so getting your nutrients from a balanced diet of natural foods (as opposed to high-dose nutritional supplements) is considered best. While on treatment, it is more important to take in calories rather than following a strict diet, since that can often be an issue.
You can read more about diet for cancer patients here.
Good luck.

Hi wildlife,
Hi wildlife,
Different foods seem to work well for each individual patient, but you can get some ideas and a couple of links to more information in this thread.

Hi wildlife 1,
Hi wildlife 1,
I don't know if you'll find a support group in your area dedicated only to those taking tarceva or even in lung cancer treatment but there are online support groups that are very welcoming and supportive, "Inspire" and "lungevity" are 2 that many in our community use.
I hope you find the support you need.
Best of luck,
Janine
