Breast Cancer w/Liver Mets - 1263986

Hello. My mom is a 8 year cancer survivor of breast cancer. The cancer is in her bones and has been almost five years. recently her cancer was found in her liver and she has numerous lesions in her liver. She is not bed ridden, but is getting progressively weaker. What can we expect as a family?

Her oncologist would be in a far better position to address things like an estimated time line and the individual pattern of her cancer, based on the biology it has already demonstrated. However, I've written a general summary of what we often see in patients as they decline from cancer:

I agree with Dr. West, my grandmother had liver cancer before 5 years & after the lots of treatment & care, she is better now. Take an advice from your cancer specialist.
