Hi everyone
Just a bit of a recap , had a left pnuemonectomy last February for squamous lung cancer t2n2m0 ,, has some suspicious lymph nodes and waa sent for another petscan on feb this year ( 12 months after surgery ) and was all clear .. Just recently I have been having some strange pain just to the right of my breastbone , it's a little hard to describe but if I had to guess I would say maybe it's bone pain .. It is very localised but when I go to rub where the pain is , there's nothing there ... It's a little worrying , my thoughts are it could be a swollen lymph node however my understanding is it would be unusual for cancer to generate pain so quickly after a recent clear petscan ,,, it is a bit worrying though

Hi aussieguy,
Hi aussieguy,
It's good to hear you've been doing well and that such a recent scan showed nothing worrisome. All are very good signs you're new pain is not cancer related. However we couldn't say whether or not it's nothing just that signs are good. A wait and see approach would tell you whether the pain increases or not. But a call into your oncologist would be very appropriate since he/she is the one who knows your case the best.
I certainly am looking forward to hearing it's a tennis related issue and not cancer related. :)
