27-year-old male with previously identified pulmonary nodule which was NOT PET avid. Unclear etiology. Patient was previously instructed to repeat labs as there is identification of atypical lymphocytes noted on his CBC with differential, the patient has not repeated these labs. Was able to call the patient today, instructed him to get the labs as ordered, to include CBC with differential and peripheral smear, I have given him contact information to get a hold of me in the event that he has issues doing so. Patient informed me that he was currently in a field exercise, again I reiterated the importance of getting these labs to rule out pathology.
This is my pulmonologists interpretation of it. ( I got the bloodwork done all came back normal)

It's good to hear that the nodule is not PET-avid and that your bloodwork is normal. You don't state how long the nodule has been present (although the report states that it was "previously identified"), or whether it has changed in size since it was first seen. For a nodule of that size, it would be typical to at least follow it with periodic scans to see if there is growth over time, or biopsy the nodule to definitively determine whether it is cancer.
