I have be diagnosed with intraductal papillary carcinoma along with DCIS grade 2 of my breast. I am understanding that this a rare form of breast cancer? Does anyone have experience with this>

Hello chappy53, I'm very sorry about your diagnosis. I hope you experience a cure for it. I'm not sure what you'd like to know about your diagnosis but since it's so rare we don't have specific info on intraductal papillary carcinoma with DCIS. Though both seem very curable.

In papillary carcinoma, the cancer cells are arranged in finger-like projections. Under a microscope, the cells appear fern-like. Papillary carcinoma is a rare type of breast cancer, accounting for about three percent of all breast cancers. Papillary carcinoma typically has a better prognosis than other, more common breast cancers.
