Hi,
Do you know if a commercial test for PD-1 status has become available yet? My sister does not seem to qualify for any trials because of various exculusions--extensive nature of her cancer. She has neuroendocrine type NSCLC, stage IV, with spine met that is still painful after radiation. After 10 total treatments with chemo, we are now deciding whether we should try Nivo off label or go with taxotere plus ramucirumab as her doctor suggests. Knowing her PD-1 status could be helpful. She lives in California. Also, do available study results indicate that Nivolumab may not be as effective for the most aggressive cancers?
Thanks,
Hammer

Hi Hammer,
Hi Hammer,
It looks like Quest Diagnostics Labs may offer PD 1 testing. You may need to do some leg work for the oncology dept if you're getting it off label.
It isn't known what is and isn't with these drugs on non squamous nsclc. That data is still in the future.
