I read an interesting article today about the use of nanotechnology - - and more specifically, gold particles that are heated up to attack and kill tumors. I read it in a local weekly newspaper and now can't find it. From what I read, the trial is being done at MD Anderson. I was wondering what our doctors' thoughts are on all of this and if there was anything at ASCO covering this. . .

My thoughts are that it's interesting and promising but still a ways away from being ready to say much about in terms of clinical applications. Still too early...
