Dear All,
I found this interesting article about benefits of beta blockers in lung cancer. There are also some articles about statins being beneficial too. I wonder what the docs think about these meds in our regimen.

I think it's interesting, and I agree with the statements that were made, which essentially were that this is an interesting observation in a somewhat limited, retrospective study. The results are encouraging enough that I definitely agree that further study is warranted in prospective trials, but nobody in these reports is stating that people who aren't on beta blockers, or statins for that matter, should start on them as an anti-cancer therapy based on what little we know right now. These agents have a wide range of effects, and several studies with statins, at least, have failed to show significant effects. I would say that these are still open questions, but interesting ones, for sure.
