Tarceva and macrodantine antibiotic for UTI interaction ? Please help! - 1294876

Please advice!

I have UTI and 2 different organisms are detected and only macrodantine antibiotic is applicable for both.

I am on Tarceva treatment at the moment and not sure if I can take Tarceva and macrodantine together. Is macrodantine will affect Tarceva absorption and or effectiveness?

I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thank you !

Hi masalovai,

I'm sorry to hear about your infections and hope they clear up quickly and easily. In the prescribing info page here, states no interactions with any antibiotics including Macrodantin.
