The Global Resource for Advancing Cancer Education (GRACE) in partnership with Georgetown University Hospital is pleased to present 2017 Advances in Immunotherapy: What Lung Cancer Patients Need to Know
On Saturday, September 16, 2017, patients, caregivers, family members and friends joined GRACE in Cleveland at the Taussig Cancer Center for a full day of discussion on Targeted Therapies in Lung Cancer. We are thrilled that people joined us for this amazing and informative day. Huge thanks to all of the faculty who spent their Saturday in Cleveland with our community, and thanks also to those organizations who sponsored this event - Astra Zeneca, Takeda, Boehringer Ingelheim, Ignyta, Novartis, Genentech, Caris, and Guardant Health.
You may have noticed some frustrating server issues with GRACE these past few days. Our true apologies – we are working diligently with our provider to solve these issues. We ask you for patience, and we will be hopefully trouble free as soon as possible.

Two of GRACE's earliest followers, Laya Dogmetchi and Jim Celebucki, talk about how the Global Resource for Advancing Cancer Education helps cancer patients and their families make informed decisions about their care.

It’s #GivingTuesday and we're out to win up to $50,000 in the Newman’s Own Foundation $500k Holiday Challenge. Help GRACE so we can continue to help others!
In this seventh video from the Targeted Therapy in Lung Cancer Live Patient Forum Webcast series, GRACE presents the lunchtime Lung Cancer Champion Award, presented to Chris Draft by GRACE founder, H. Jack West.
Lisa and I have been long-time participants on GRACE – I discovered it in July, 2008 when my wife Liz was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer, became a member and began posting in May, 2009 and added moderator duties in January, 2010. Lisa joined in November, 2010 when her husband Mark was also diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer. During their illnesses, we received a great deal of expert information and emotional support from the GRACE faculty and community.
Happy new year, GRACErs! The change in the calendar brings out contemplation. Most of the year, the gym in my building is quiet and hardly used so I can calmly read my journals on the exercise bike. The exercise hopefully compensates for my otherwise sedentary, nerdy lifestyle and I find that I do good thinking there. Now, after the new year, as in every year, the gym has been briefly very busy. During an otherwise not so impressive workout, I read an article that I think may be of interest to some in this community.
