I was dx with invasive papillary carcinoma (breast), stage 2, grade 3, 0/3 nodes in 2011. Did 4 rounds DD AC then had BMX. I have now got a hard, painful lump on my right clavicle (close to sternum). The bone appears to be bigger than left side, and sore to touch. Also have stiff neck. This appeared approx. 10 days ago. Just wondering if it could be mets? or maybe arthritis from chemo damage? My health has been very good up until this symptom appeared. I declined further chemo (taxol) due to awful side effects from the AC, and chose bilateral mastectomy over rads. Also did not want to take tamoxifen. I had sore ribs earlier in year and SOB. Had chest xray and CT that were clear. Ribs fine again, and SOB has also improved.

Hello rowan49, Welcome to Grace. I certainly hope this isn't a recurrence of the breast cancer but since cancer has a reputation of just about anything cancer can only be ruled out by proper followup with your oncologist.
I will ask our breast cancer onc to chime in with comment.
I hope you will keep us posted, hopefully with an all clear,

I agree with Janine. You need to be examined by your oncologist and he or she can determine whether further testing is advised. I wish you all the best.
