:cry: ok well mh pain is so bad in mh shoulder ovr onto to@ of my lung eye lid is dropy on same side afm weakness after5 months getting mri sat of sbojlder shud this show up if this is a pancost tumor thanks soo mu h

Hi evey40, An MRI should pick up a pancoast tumor if pointed in the right direction it does. My husband's case was an exception in that an MRI didn't pick up the tumor I guess because they were looking at his scapula. Though the CT did and from what I understand a tumor causing that kind of pain can't hide from a CT.
While being thorough in the search know there are many reasons for problems with the brachial plexus (this is the place the tumor can interfere with that causes arm pain and horners syndrome).
I hope it is something other than cancer.

so thank you all for your replies i am in so much psin it has just gotten worse ovrt the past monthd i have been told rotator cup trapoed nerve frozen shoulder it was only when it started to go into in chest and top if my back that i am getting some action taken i have suffered witj asthma for yrars and have been on many dtugs for my lungs including long trtm steroid use but nevet had oain like this and the turedness is taking over my life many thanks again ill let you no what the out come if my mrii is god bless
