After aortic vale replacement in May had a chest CT, again NED After repeated fevers had a abdomen CT.Report came back liver lesion, metastic from the lung. Ouch! Next day MRI again, lesion but not as assertive as the 1st report. My oncologist said she could be right but it was atypical & he had his doubts. Sent the scans to a gastro group & they had a meeting & said it was inconclusive. Oh boy, maybe some hope. I was then referred to the Piper cancer center in Mpls. for a MRI, understand their machine programmed for the liver. Another meeting, another inconclusive. Scheduled a biopsy, just got the results BENIGN! With my past history of cancers I wasn't optimistic, what a relief!

That's great to hear, and it does illustrate that there's often ambiguity in these scans. Congratulations!
