Mum has breast cancer recurrence however I don't understand PET scan results - 1264172

I am very confused. My mum was diagnosed in 2012 with breast cancer. She did chemotherapy and a mastectomy and radiation therapy. It's been 9 months since she finished her treatment and now she did a biopsy last week and PET scan thereafter which shows the cancer has recurred however since her oncologist is away and we are waiting to hear from him I am very confused with the PET scan results I have received and I am desperately looking for answers. Please help.

The conclusion on the PET scan results say:

There is hypermetabolic metastatic left axillary and supra clavicle lymphadenopathy.
No hypermetabolic metastatic solid visceral or osseus infiltrates are detected.

What does it mean? Any help would be appreciated thank you.

visceral and osseus infiltrates refer to organ and bone, so no organ or bone hypermetabolic activity are shown to suggest spread to organs or bones. lymphadenopathy refers to swollen lymph nodes, so theres hypermetabolic activity in these lymph nodes suggestive of cancer.
You said there was a biopsy that found cancer, which is the only way to really say what any of the PET scan means because the hypermet activity could also mean inflammation or infection.
