I have be unable to find any articles/studies that suggest specific exercises for improving lung function.
Completed Treatment for T2 N2 M0, 2012. Presently, I walk 2 1/2 miles, 6/7 days a week at a rapid pace. My oxygen levels are around 98%. I wear a mask for Sleep Apnea.
I think my exercise program has kept my large pleural effusion from increasing in size or from causing breathing difficulties.
Now, I am trying to find exercises which would decrease my carbon dioxide (CO2) levels, as they appear to be steadily increasing. Can you recommend something?

I don't know of anything, but the question is outside of my wheelhouse. I've been thinking that pulmonary rehab might be something that we should consider covering in some educational materials. I'll make some inquiries working with some pulmonology colleagues.
