With the encouragement of Dr. West, today Lisa and I have shared the story of how we found each other here on the GRACE site after each of us lost our beloved spouses to lung cancer. We have told our story to many people who have been deeply moved by this tale of love conquering sadness and grief. In fact, we've often been told it would make a great film, so if you know anyone who wants to make to make a movie, let us know! :)

I'm so happy for both of you. I've had 2 friends who lost their mates, both found partners at the hospitals where their spouses had also passed. Both are very happy, one is celebrating their 25th aniversary this summer. I wish you the same.

Agree with Laya! Thanks for sharing your story.

Operations Director for GRACE. Have worked with cancerGRACE.org since July 2009.  Became involved as a caregiver to my best friend, and quickly came to see that GRACE is filling a need in the area of cancer education.
