After 2 stomach cancers & 3 lung cancers spread over 24 yrs. The lung cancers were separated by 6 yrs. 2016 was the 6th year & sure enough the 4th came. This one unoperable, no radiation, only chemo, not to cure but extend life. Chemo would just make me feel worse than I do. So I joined hospice. I've learned a lot on cancer grace & wish all of you well on your journeys.

Andy,
Andy,
I'm sorry that there was a technical problem with your post delaying its appearance on the forums and my response. I am sad to hear of your latest diagnosis. It's all much more than any one person should ever have to endure. I have followed your battles with cancer for several years here on GRACE, and have always found admirable your courage and quest to learn about the disease and your best options for treatment.
In my experiences with hospice, I have been impressed with the caring nature of the staff I hope that your hospice staff will help you to find comfort, and my thoughts will be with you.
Best wishes,

Hi Andy,
Hi Andy,
I'm so sorry about the newest diagnosis. How unfair it feels that one person would have so many cancer diagnoses. I'm sure hospice will help tremendously. I admit a had to go back to read your history with Grace even though I remembered your username. Your daughter is an oncology nurse so I know you will get excellent support.
Please check in with us if you'd like, I won't be surprised if you do well for a quite a while. Good luck to you Andy. Keeping you in my thoughts and hopes for mostly good days.
Janine

Andy, so sorry to hear about another new LC diagnosis. You've been through a lot with cancer and beat it back many times. May you have comfort and peace in the coming days!
