To GRACE members, faculty and staff,

Best wishes to all for a Happy Thanksgiving. It's a great day to remember and be grateful for all of the good things in life. For me, every year I give thanks for this wonderful resource called GRACE. Ten years ago, when my wife Liz was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer, we were set adrift in a new and frightening world with no road map to guide us. But then I found GRACE, with its wealth of authoritative information and support. Armed with that knowledge, we were able to have informed, intelligent conversations with Liz's oncologist. I'll never forget the help we received from the GRACE faculty and members.

As you can see from my signature link below, I've remained active on the GRACE site (and it's assisted me in ways I could never have anticipated), because I know how much it helps so many people, whether patients or their loved ones, all over the world.

We don't charge a user fee to access this information; rather we rely on the generous contributions from those who use this resource. So to the extent you are able, please consider a donation to GRACE to help us continue our mission of cancer education. Just follow this link: https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?Id=1&name=E125105

Thank you, and from all of us here at GRACE, have a peaceful Thanksgiving holiday, even if it's just another Thursday where you are!

I discovered GRACE when my wife was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2008. After finding so much authoritative information here, I became a forum moderator and now serve as part of the GRACE Community Outreach Team.

Just a bump for Giving Tuesday!

Jim and I along with Laya D. found Grace all within a few months after our loved ones were diagnosed with lung cancer.  We were so grateful for the information and support we found here we stayed around to help others.  Following is a link to some short videos about how some of our board members joined Grace.  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTgEYcFScPaAVYjPFH3gOvw

I joined GRACE as a caregiver for my husband who had a Pancoast tumor, NSCLC stage III in 2009. He had curative chemo/rads then it was believed he had a recurrence in the spine/oligometastasis that was radiated. He's 10 years out from treatment.
