My mother has been dx'ed with radiation pneumonitis. She is to take cycles of diminishing Prednisone. What other med's, treatments and or anything she can do to diminish and or hopefully completely eliminate this. She also still has espohagitis. Please let me know and thank you.

Along with time, steroids and oxygen as needed are the main interventions for radiation pneumonitis. You can do a search and find a lot more discussion of radiation pneumonitis, but they all boil down to the same very limited array of interventions.
