Dr West,

I am the same person who asked the question about BAC stage 1B chemo question. I wanted to know what the chances of reoccurrence of this type of cancer? Thank you so much for your time and quick responses!

I would estimate that the chance of recurrence of a single focus of BAC measuring about 2 cm is in the range of 15-20% or so. If there were other lesions in the background of the lungs, or if the pathology from the surgery showed multiple spots of disease within the resected lung, I'd say that the chance of recurrence would be quite a bit higher.
