I've read several posts recently (not here) that say their onc is recommending the above treatment for LC. They have to pay so much out-of-pocket, as it's not covered by insurance. From what I can find, there have been some clinical trials but it is not approved as a treatment for LC. Can anyone clarify whether an onc can use this to treat LC? Take care, Judy

Reply To: IL-2 and Vit. A Treatment for lung cancer
I am not aware of any significant data to support this and don't know of any leader in lung cancer who has recommended it, or even considered it. Among the many reasons I wouldn't embrace it is the fact that as IL-2 is used in other cancer settings, it is often exceptionally toxic.
