Hi. I am dealing with metastatic rcc in thyroid ( half removed) and lung (watching with scans) after having a kidney removed with initial diagnosis 19 years ago. I am taking only alternative medicines Iscador, TBL-12 and Salvesterol. Does anyone have any experience with these medicines or rcc recurring after 19 years?

I'm sorry about your late recurrence. Though I often say that cancer can do anything, that's especially true for renal cell carcinoma, which is mediated more by host immune function than just about any other type of cancer (melanoma is another that is also especially affected by immune function). There are a wide range of treatments now for renal cell carcinoma that have a very established role by improving survival, ranging from targeted therapies to immunotherapies and even potentially chemotherapy. The role for alternative therapies remains unclear.

Good luck.
