Dear all

Long time since I've been here. Spent the last year and a half trying to ride the roller coaster with my dad. I thought I should let you all know that my dad died exactly one month ago, in a hospice, surrounded by family and love. He had a peaceful end, even if he died too soon for all of us. We got a chance to say our goodbyes, to tell him our, to hold him and ensure him mum would be well looked after. And he held on to his absurdist humour and sarcasm to his final days.

This place was a wonder for me in the early days of dad's treatment and I'll make sure to spread the word and support when and where I can.

Thanks all.

Leopoldo, I'm very sorry to know your dad is gone. I know his humour lives on in his family...No?
I'm glad the family was near to hold him and say their goodbyes and I'm sure he felt secure in the promises of taking care of your mom.

I'm glad Grace was such a help in horrible times, I fully understand what you mean. Thank you so for letting us know.

Wishes for peace and healing,
Janine

I also want to express my condolences and say that we're very grateful GRACE meant enough to you to come back and let us know. It means a lot to me personally to know we could help when you needed it.

I'm sorry for your loss. However, I'm glad for you and your family that you were able to lead him to his next chapter surrounded by love. What a comfort that must've been for him.
