A friend of mine has started a course of TKI. If she were to get a response, after what period of time can she expect to notice any improvement (e.g. less shortness of breath, less coughing)?

Hi bailey,
Hi bailey,
Welcome to GRACE. Some patients respond very quickly when they begin a TKI, with a dramatic improvement in symptoms, but most take a little time (perhaps weeks to a month or two) before seeing a noticeable difference. That's why the initial follow-up scan after starting treatment is usually done six or eight weeks later.
I hope your friend shows quick improvement in symptoms.
