Dr. Pinder is a medical oncologist and specialist in lung cancer and mesothelioma at the renowned H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, where she is an Assistant Member, involved with direct patient care and clinical research. After training at Stanford for medical school, Dr. Pinder did her internship and residency in general medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then completed her oncology fellowship specialty training at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Prior to her current work in Tampa, she was a respected medical oncologist in Seattle, where she specialized in lung cancer at the Virginia Mason Medical Center. After a few years in Seattle, however, the appeal of being near her family in Florida, combined with a great opportunity at the Moffitt Cancer Center, led her to move to Tampa.
